Craft is a notes and documents app for writing pages, attaching tasks, and syncing them across web, desktop, and mobile.
The homepage calls it a space for notes, tasks, and big ideas, and lists docs, tasks, calendar, whiteboards, and daily notes as the things people keep there. A short phone note can be opened again and turned into a document you publish.
Core capabilities
Take a fragment through to a shareable page
You capture a note on a phone or computer, then edit it into a document. The writing section points to templates, whiteboards, Write with AI, and publish and share. The free comparison column includes PDF, Markdown, Word (.docx), and PNG export. Plus adds Print and TextBundle.
Leave the task inside the document
Planning puts tasks in the document instead of a separate list. The comparison table includes schedules, deadlines, reminders, and repeats, plus daily notes and a calendar of scheduled tasks and synced events. The plan section says the point is to keep the thinking next to the work.
Split work and personal material
Organize offers spaces, folders and tags, or collections. The homepage describes spaces as a way to switch between work and personal, folders and tags as a hierarchy, and collections as structured tracking. Free includes one personal space. Plus lists 10 personal spaces. Shared spaces are absent on the free column and present on the family and team plans.
How to use it
- Open Craft in the browser at the web app, or install it. The download page lists macOS, Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Android, and visionOS, plus a Web Clipper for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
- Start in daily notes or a new document. Add tasks where the related writing already sits.
- File the page with a space, folder, or tag. Use a collection when the material is a set of records rather than one document.
- Share a link or publish a page. Password protection, email access, an expiration date, hiding the Craft credit, and search-engine indexing are marked as Plus publishing controls in the comparison table.
The same table marks real-time sync and offline access and editing as included on the free column. Version history is 7 days there and 30 days on Plus.
Who it suits
Craft fits a person who writes and plans in the same place: meeting notes that become a published page, a student keeping course notes next to tasks, or someone running a personal wiki with folders and tags. The homepage examples include podcast notes, shoot plans, lesson scripts, and daily tasks.
It is a weaker fit if you mainly need a visual map of relationships or a Gantt chart as the primary view. Check the block cap before you move an archive into the free plan, and check shared spaces before you expect a team workspace.
Pricing, access and limits
Craft has an ongoing free plan and paid upgrades, so it is freemium. With the Yearly toggle selected, the pricing page showed Starter at HK$0, Plus at HK$49.6 per month, Family at HK$93 per month for up to six accounts, and Team at $5 per member per month with a minimum of three members. Enterprise is contact-only and lists SSO and SCIM. Students can get Plus free after a school-email check that is renewed yearly. Nonprofit and education discounts are advertised up to 50% off. The FAQ asks why prices differ by country, so these figures are the ones on that visit, not a worldwide list. A separate static fetch of the same URL labeled a Plus checkout as CN¥699 per year.
The comparison table, which is more specific than the plan cards, limits the free plan to 1,500 blocks, 1 GB of storage, one personal space, 25 MB media uploads, and about 20 AI sessions for the life of the account. It includes Core and Fast models and marks Max as not included. Plus removes the content and storage caps, allows 10 personal spaces, unlimited media uploads, about 250 to 500 AI sessions per year, and the Max model. The Starter card also lists “AI Models: Core, Fast, Max” and “Custom domain & branding.” Where that card and the comparison table disagree, read the comparison table before you pay.
Frequently asked questions
Is the free plan only a trial?
No. Starter stays available. The FAQ says it covers up to 1,500 blocks across your documents and 1 GB of storage. The comparison table adds the media, history, and AI-session limits above.
Will documents sync across devices?
The comparison table marks real-time sync, and offline access and editing, as included. The download page describes the apps as offline-first with sync across devices.
Is there a browser clipper?
Yes. The download page lists a Web Clipper for Safari on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, a Chrome Web Store listing, and a Firefox add-on.
Why might the price I see be different?
The pricing FAQ is titled “Why might I see different prices in different countries?” The amounts above are what this visit showed with Yearly selected, including a separate CN¥699 per year label on one Plus checkout link.
