Testifly is an autonomous AI QA tool that maps a web app from its URL and runs end-to-end tests on every deploy.
You point it at a live web application. It explores the flows that exist, builds tests without a written script, and reports a failure with session video and a root-cause note.
Core capabilities
Map flows from the live app
You supply the app URL and, when a flow sits behind a login, the credentials it should use. Testifly explores the running product and maps flows such as signup or checkout. Its FAQ says you do not write a test case, a selector, or a briefing.
Run the suite on deploys and on a schedule
Discovered flows run on each deploy and on a schedule, including through the Test Execution API in CI. Starter includes one execution environment, Growth includes three, and Business lists unlimited environments. A failed run keeps session video and a root-cause analysis, and Testifly tries to separate a real regression from a test that broke only because the UI changed.
Keep tests aligned when the product changes
When the interface changes, Testifly describes self-healing as updating the broken selector or flow. When the feature's behavior changes, it updates the related tests. Growth and above add blast radius, which shows which flows a change affects, plus reporting into Jira, Linear, Notion, and Slack. Ask Tessa is a project-aware chat for questions, drafted tests, and linked issues.
How to use it
- Create an account with an email and password. The trial does not ask for a card.
- Enter the web app URL. If the app requires a login, provide the password, social login, magic link, or custom method the product says it can handle.
- Let discovery map flows and start tests. The FAQ says results are typically back in about 15 minutes. The pricing page describes the connection step itself as about two minutes.
- Review failures, session video, and root cause. Connect CI through the Test Execution API. On Growth or Business, connect Jira, Linear, Notion, or Slack.
Who it suits
Testifly fits a small team that needs end-to-end coverage of a web app and does not have a dedicated QA engineer. The FAQ describes that audience as roughly one to five people. It is a weak fit if the thing you need to test is not a reachable web application, or if you want hand-authored Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium scripts to remain the source of truth. Those frameworks still require engineers to write and maintain scripts.
Check two conditions first. The app URL must be reachable by Testifly, and a bot wall may require allowlisting its IP. The homepage also calls out an app behind a VPN as a separate case.
Pricing, access and limits
Continued live testing after the trial is paid. Free Discovery lasts 30 days and does not require a card. During Discovery, the pricing page lists one project, 30 automated tests across 3 live features, 4,500 monthly executions, 10 test suites, 150 email reports, 100 Tessa sessions, and 100 blast-radius sessions. On day 30, live testing of those three features pauses until you activate a plan. Saved work remains.
Starter is $29 per month: 50 automated tests, 5,000 executions, one project, unlimited users, email support, CI/CD, and API. It does not include blast radius, the Jira, Linear, Notion, and Slack integrations, or on-prem execution.
Growth is $89 per month: 225 tests, 50,000 executions, three environments, blast radius, those integrations, on-prem execution, and priority support.
Business is $249 per month: 750 tests, 200,000 executions, and two projects.
Enterprise is custom, including custom limits, dedicated support, and a custom contract. Annual billing is listed as 20% off. A second product, staging environment, or client site counts as its own project.
Test passwords are not stored in plaintext in Testifly's database. The homepage says each secret is encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a project-specific key and again by Azure Key Vault, then decrypted in memory only long enough to log in. It is not logged or shown back.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to write test code?
No. You provide a URL. Testifly discovers flows and builds the end-to-end tests. You do not maintain selectors.
What happens when the 30-day trial ends?
Live testing on the three active Discovery features pauses until you subscribe. The coverage map and tests you already have stay in place.
Which tools can it report into?
Every plan can trigger runs through the Test Execution API. Jira, Linear, Notion, and Slack are included on Growth and Business, not on Starter.
Where does the test password go?
It is encrypted, stored via Azure Key Vault, and decrypted in memory for the login. Testifly says it is not logged and not shown back to you.
Can it test more than one product?
Starter and Growth include one project. Business includes two. Enterprise is sized separately. A second product or a client site is another project.
