Synter is an AI ad workspace where an agent drafts, reviews, and launches campaigns across connected ad platforms.
You connect ad accounts once, then work from Synter's web console, its Mac app, or an MCP client such as Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT. Agents prepare campaign, creative, audience, and measurement changes. Consequential writes stay behind the approval rules you set. Media spend is billed by the ad platforms, not as a percentage by Synter.
Core capabilities
Run connected ad accounts from one agent
Synter's site describes a Universal Ads MCP covering 43 advertising platforms, including search, social, retail media, and programmatic networks listed on the pricing page. Supported actions depend on each platform's API and the permissions you grant. Reads, such as listing campaigns, are priced at $0.
Draft creative and campaign changes for review
Agents can prepare campaign structure, copy, images, and video scripts. The pricing catalog lists image generation at $2 and video generation at $27.50. In the Mac app, the agent proposes before-and-after diffs, and you accept or reject them before they change live spend. The web product uses the same idea: preflight checks and an approval gate.
Read results across accounts
Scale adds CRM sync with HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, and Pipedrive, plus multi-touch attribution. The homepage also describes landing pages and account research. Those CRM and attribution features are not on Solo.
How to use it
- Connect the ad accounts you want the agent to see. The pricing FAQ says a card is not required to connect accounts, pull cross-channel performance, audit pixel health, or draft a campaign architecture.
- Choose where the agent runs: the web console, the native macOS app, or an MCP, CLI, or API client. MCP, SDK, CLI, and API share the 1x action rates because you bring your own model. Actions inside the Synter app are listed at 5x, so a campaign launch is $5 on MCP and $25 in the app.
- Review the draft. A light write such as pause is $0.05. An unpriced tool call is $0.25. A campaign launch uses the rates above.
- Approve the change when your workspace requires it. Synter describes permission scopes, safety checks, and an action record.
Who it suits
Synter suits a person or team that already advertises on more than one platform and wants an agent to prepare changes without a separate login for each dashboard. Solo is aimed at one developer connecting MCP, CLI, and API. Scale is aimed at a brand workspace that wants more seats, autopilot, and CRM sync. Custom is the path for multi-client agencies.
It is a weak fit if you do not have ad accounts to connect, or if you want budget changes to launch with no approval step. Check platform coverage before you rely on a specific network.
Pricing, access and limits
Connecting, reading, auditing pixels, and drafting do not require a card, so that work has an ongoing free path. Launching live campaigns, turning on automations, or shipping verified writes requires a payment method and a plan.
Solo is $20 per month, or $200 per year, with $20 in claimable usage credits each month, or $200 up front on the annual plan. It includes one workspace, one developer seat, and one advertiser account per platform. Optimization reviews are manual, one by one.
Scale is $500 per month per workspace, or $5,000 per year, with $500 in monthly claimable credits, or $5,000 up front annually. It includes five seats, 24/7 autopilot, bulk execution, and the CRM and attribution features above. An extra workspace is $500 per month and includes its own credit allowance.
Custom is sales-led and adds unlimited seats, SSO, multi-client workspaces, and a dedicated customer engineer. Credits are claimed in the billing portal. After the allowance, usage continues at the published rates. Synter does not charge a percentage of ad spend.
Frequently asked questions
Can I try it without a credit card?
Yes, for connecting accounts, reading performance, checking pixels, and drafting. A card is required when you launch, enable automations, or send verified writes.
Does Synter take a share of ad spend?
No. Ad platforms bill media directly. Synter bills the subscription and metered agent actions.
Will an agent change a live campaign on its own?
Only within the permissions and approval gates of the workspace. Consequential changes are documented as a human review. Scale adds autopilot. Solo stays on one-by-one approvals.
What is Synter Angstrom?
It is Synter's in-development model for ad work. The site says it is not available to customers, and the agents shown on the page do not run on it.
Which desktop systems can run the app?
The download page offers a native macOS build for Apple Silicon on macOS Sonoma 14 or later. It can pair with Synter Cloud or open a local campaign workspace. A Windows app is not listed.
