HeightCalculator.run is a free browser tool that lines up heights you enter on one 3D or 2D scale and shows the numerical gap.
Core capabilities
The main comparison accepts names and heights in centimetres or feet and inches, with adult or child figures, up to 12 entries. Everyone stands on one ground line. The first entry is the baseline, and another person can be set as the baseline. Compare gives a front view; Orbit moves around the 3D scene. Animals, landmarks, and objects are schematic and appear in the 2D view. A searchable library includes celebrities and fictional characters; the site says those heights should be checked against their sources.
The same site also publishes related calculators: a mid-parental family-height reference with CDC context, height and weight percentiles, WHO baby length percentiles, growth velocity, average height by country, a unit converter, image-to-height estimation, ideal body weight screening ranges, and a dunk calculator. The about page says these are educational references, not a clinical service, and they do not predict an individual's adult height.
Compare people you know
Enter measured heights for a couple, friends, or family and read the gap in centimetres and feet-inches.
Place a reference beside a person
Switch to 2D to put an animal, landmark, or object on the same scale. The site says these drawings are not engineering measurements.
How to use it
- Add a name and height, choose adult or child, or pick a library reference.
- Switch between 3D and 2D, zoom, or fit the group, and change the baseline if needed.
- Download a 2D PNG or share a link or QR code. The PNG includes names, results, and site branding; it is not a capture of the 3D camera. Light, dark, or transparent backgrounds can be chosen. The share link contains the names and heights, and the recipient can edit their own copy without an account.
Who it suits
It suits a quick visual comparison for personal curiosity, a class, a post, or a character lineup. It does not suit medical growth assessment, a portrait of a real body, or a forecast of adult height. Stylized models do not reproduce face, posture, hair, or shoes. Celebrity and character heights can differ by source or edition.
Pricing, access and limits
Public tools require no account and no payment, including 3D comparison, PNG download, and sharing. The lineup is normally stored in the browser; clearing site data removes it. 3D needs WebGL; otherwise the 2D view still compares heights. The about page says Google AdSense may be added later and would not make the tools paid. Results follow the numbers you enter. Conversions are rounded for display.
Frequently asked questions
Does this predict how tall a child will be?
No. The comparison uses heights you enter or select. A separate family-height tool gives a mid-parental reference, and the site says that is not an individual adult-height forecast.
Is the 3D figure an accurate body model?
No. Figures share one height scale and are stylized. Use the numbers and the scale for the height gap.
Is an account required?
No. Comparison, PNG download, and sharing are free without sign-up.
